Export Co-Ordinator Jan 2012 open position

International Transportation Company looking for Export Co-Ordinator

 Responsibilities: Arrange Exports and completion of all documentation .

Carrier/trucker negotiations. Provide quotations and follow up/secure. Stand alone position.

Requirements:

  • honest and reliable
  • knowledge of IMCO Terms
  • Dangerous cargo knowledge
  • good communication skills
  • bilingual
  • experience in freight forwarding/Ocean Carrier
  • claims experience an asset

2nd position Jan 2012

Senior Accounting position, mid-sized freight forwarding company located in West-Island.  Must be able to handle a wide range of tasks.   Experience required and duties include:

  • Management experience required
  • Experience in a similar position an asset
  • Strong accounting skills with ability to handle full accounting cycle (Accpac  Sage)
  • Supervise A/R and A/P
  • Accounting designation, CGA preferred
  • Prepare year-end files
  • Prepare interim reporting
  • All government reporting
  • Experienced in payroll
  • Transportation industry experience an asset
  • Various other tasks as needed.
  • Must be organized, precise and logical
  • Strong English required, bilingual preferred
